A Bit About Lucky's Laser Tattoo Removal
I’m Rowan Stein the laser tattoo removal technician. I’m a heavily tattooed, Edinburgh born and bred lover of art and vintage oddities. I provide Edinburgh with a friendly, safe and trustworthy tattoo removal service.
I’ve spent the last few years building up to starting Lucky's Laser tattoo removal. This has included training in:
First aid (Trained by St Andrews ambulance)
Core of knowledge by Manchester university and Lynton lasers
Tattoo removal masterclass and Laser Tattoo removal certification by Lynton lasers
VTCT Level 2 Award in Infection Prevention (COVID-19) Lynton lasers
I am not here to judge or question the tattoo you want removed. It can be an extremely personal and difficult process for some people emotionally. I’m here to help make you feel as comfortable and as safe as possible. You never have to explain why you got the tattoo or why you want rid of it to me and anything discussed during treatment sessions is held in strict confidence.
Pop to the booking page to book your consultation, all clients must have a consultation and patch test before a full removal treatment session.Consultations are free but we take a £20 deposit to secure your appointment, this can then be used towards your deposit for your first treatment session or refunded if you want to take some time to think or you do not wish to use our services.
Once we Book you in for your consultation and patch test you will be required to fill in a consultation form, a pre treatment checklist and a photography consent form prior to your appointment. You will also be sent a COVID form 48hours before your appointment.
At your consultation we will go over the removal process in detail and answer any questions you may have. We then take measurements of the tattoo and work out the cost of your treatments. We will do a small patch test on the tattoo and then book you in for your first session a minimum of 7 days later to ensure you don’t have any adverse reactions to the treatment. We take a 30% deposit to secure the booking which can either be paid at the consultation or a payment request will be sent to you when booking a treatment session via email or DM with myself.
Kool packs can be purchased to help with pain relief and Aloe Vera gel to help with aftercare healing. The treatment itself is extremely quick and will be over before you know it. Your treatments will be spaced a minimum of 8 weeks apart in order to allow for healing. You can contact me at any time should you have any issues between appointments, I’m always happy to help.
